Biography



Lou

Lou Pingeot has served as Program Coordinator at Global Policy Forum since November 2010.

Born and raised in Paris, she earned her M.A. degree in political science from Sciences Po, where she specialized in international relations and international security.

In mid-2010, she was a visiting scholar at the York Center for International and Security Studies (YCISS) in Toronto, where she did research on Private Military and Security Companies. This was the beginning of a project leading to the July 2012 publication of a GPF investigative report on the use of PMSCs by the UN.

She is active in GPF’s work on the Security Council and Food & Hunger, and has additional responsibilities across a range of issues.
