Guineas: Military Rule Must End

Military junta have controlled Guinea since December 2008. The junta maintain power and suppress political opposition using military force, sexual violence and murder. The violent and imposing military rule threatens the stability of the surrounding regions as well as Guinea itself.  The report highlights the necessity to devise an exit strategy for the junta regime, proposing a twofold approach - of negotiations, and if these fail, isolation and sanctioning of the junta.
