Global Policy Forum provides a large collection of links to external resources relevant to GPF's work, including the UN and its agencies, NGOs, institutes, newspapers, magazines, and more. Resources related to the many issues covered by Global Policy Forum, include: the UN Security Council, social and economic policy, globalization, nations & states, NGOs, UN Finance Iraq, Empire and UN reform.

Furthermore, GPF has gathered links to United Nations resources, including information on the history of the organization, schedule of meetings, UN resolutions and other information.

A group of researchers that seeks to broaden public discourse by gaining media access for commonly margianalized perspectives.

Interhemispheric Resource Center

International Centre For Trade and Sustainable Development

Third World Network

Tim's Brain (formerly Baobab's Corporate Power Information Center)

Provides articles and sites that "explore, expose and critique the domination of global business, politics, and culture by large corporations."

Transnational Institute

A prominent research institute in the Netherlands that offers articles, reports, seminars and lobbying information as a means of addressing various global problems through international cooperation.

UNESCO - Management of Social Transformations

Articles, reports, and other information. Provides in-depth coverage of some special issues such as, migration, urbanization, and the globalization of the drug trade.

World Policy Institute

This group publishes an online journal that addresses many different aspects of globalization.

World Social Forum

Not an organization, but an annual "open meeting" of the global justice movement. WSF 2004 will be held January 16-21 in Mumbai, India.

World Watch Institute (WWI)

WWI conducts extensive research projects focusing on how global economics and governmental policies affect environmental health and sustainability. Its State of the World annual is justly famous as an overview of big picture environmental issues.

Yale Global Online

DPI/NGO

The NGO Section of the Department of Public Information (DPI) at UN Headquarters serves as the liaison between the UN and NGO associated with DPI.

DESA/NGO

UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) section on NGOs offers information on how to obtain status and how to get a pass to the UN. There is also a link to the ECOSOC Committee on NGOs, responsible for accreditation and suspension of NGOs.

NGLS

The United Nations Non-Governmental Liaison Service (NGLS) is a small inter-agency programme established in 1975 to strengthen UN-NGO dialogue and cooperation, particularly in the fields of development education, information and policy advocacy on global sustainable development.

CONGO

The Conference of Nongovernmental Organizations in Consultative Relationship with the United Nations Economic and Social Council. This is an independent, international and not-for-profit membership association of nongovernmental organizations that facilitates the participation of NGOs in United Nations debates and decisions.
