We continue to follow West africa, Iraq and the Balkans in the Security Council. The Council has been meeting all week on the Middle East...often well into the evenings and weekends on this difficult issue. We also have some commentary on US policy towards Iraq. The Small Arms prep-com also continues this week, and we have links to the IANSA reports from our Small Arms page: http://www.globalpolicy.org/security/smallarms/salwindx.htm. We also have some articles on water and natural resources in conflicts. We have also updated tables on UN payments.
