Lou Pingeot



Lou Pingeot is a PhD student at McGill University (Montreal) who currently acts as Policy Advisor to Global Policy Forum. She served as Program Coordinator at GPF from November 2010 to March 2013.

Born and raised in Paris, she earned her M.A. degree in political science from Sciences Po, where she specialized in international relations and international security.

Lou has written several reports for GPF on topics ranging from the use of Private Military and Security Companies (PMSCs) by the UN, the influence of corporations at the UN and the "Responsibility to Protect" (R2P) concept. Her work has also appeared in edited volumes, research journals and international newspapers.
