European Trade Union Confederation
The site of the Brussels-based ETUC, founded in 1973, uniting 58 national trade union centers in 28 countries and 14 European federations, with a total of 53 million members.

International Confederation of Free Trade Unions

The site of the largest of the international confederations.

ICEM - International Federation of Chemical, Energy, Mine and General Workers' Union
Founded in November 1995, this is one of the most recent trade union federations to come out of the merger movement. It joins 20 million members worldwide.

International Labour Organization
One of the oldest international organizations, the ILO site posts information about work on labor rights worldwide.

International Labor Rights Fund (ILRF)
The International Labor Rights Fund, founded in 1986, is a nonprofit action and advocacy organization that uses new and creative means to encourage enforcement of international labor rights.

Fair Labor Association (FLA)
A network of universities and citizen activist groups, working in affiliation with major companies. FLA independently investigates compliance with its labor standards, in an effort to push companies toward social responsibility.

Maquila Solidarity Network (MSN)
A Canadian organization that promotes transparency for organizations and businesses in order to raise public awareness and further corporate responsibility for workers worldwide.

Cyber Picket Line
One of the best and most complete directories of trade unions worldwide.

LaborNet at the Institute for Global Communication
Posts news, information and resources (including many links) for a democratic labor movement.

Public Services International
A site by the 20 million strong union of public workers. Particuarly interesting on this site is the paper called "Public Sector Alternative Strategy" (download version).

Public Services International Research Unit
This site is a resource for, and financed by, the international trade union movement. The main focus is the provision of information on multinational companies involved in privatisation. Company information is based on the PSIRU/PSI database with files on over 2,000 companies. The site is organised by sector as well as by company.

United Electrical Workers' International Solidarity Page
One of the more progressive unions in the United States posts material on its partnership with the FAT (Frente Autentico del Trabajo) of Mexico.
