Transnational agierende Konzerne und ihre global verzweigten Wertschöpfungsketten beherrschen Dreiviertel des gesamten Welthandels. Die Ausweitung ihrer Wertschöpfungsketten ging häufig mit der Verlagerung von Produktion und Arbeitsplätzen in “Billiglohnländer“ Mittelosteuropas, Asiens und des Globalen Südens einher.
